Refund policy

At Golden Aura Gems, we take pride in the unique energy and geological beauty of every piece we curate. Because our products are born of the Earth, no two items are identical. We want you to feel a genuine connection with your selection. If that connection isn't there, we are here to help.

1. The 30-Day Return Window

We offer a 30-day return period. You have 30 days from the date your tracking number confirms delivery to request a return. After 30 days, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange.

For all returns initiated after 7 days, a restocking fee will apply, as set out in section 3.

2. Return Eligibility & Conditions

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it:

  • Crystals & Specimens: Must be free of any new chips, scratches, or oils.

  • Handmade Jewelry: Must be unworn, in its original packaging, and with any tags intact.

  • Non-Returnable Items: For customization reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

    • Customized or bespoke jewelry commissions.

    • Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance."

     

3. The Return Process

To initiate a return, please contact us at contact@goldenauragems.ca with your order number and the reason for the return.

  • Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service (such as Canada Post, UPS, or FedEx) and purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

  • Restocking Fee: For all returns initiated after 7 days, a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from all refunds to the original payment method to cover the specialized labor of re-inspecting, cleaning, and re-cataloging unique inventory.

  • Store Credit Option: If you opt for a refund in the form of Store Credit, the 10% restocking fee will be waived.

4. Natural Variations (The Nature of Crystals)

Please note that raw crystals and formed gems are natural products. Internal "veins," inclusions, and minor surface variations are geological signatures of the stone and are not considered defects. We are happy to provide additional images or videos of products before you buy them.

5. Damages and Issues (Arrival Protection)

Please inspect your order upon reception. If an item arrives damaged or if you receive the wrong item, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery to be eligible for a full refund and coverage of shipping costs.

  • To process a damage claim, you must provide clear photos of the damaged item and the original exterior packaging.

  • If verified and approved, we will provide a pre-paid return label and offer a full refund or a replacement (if a similar specimen is available).

6. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund (minus the restocking fee, if applicable) will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.
